Room Two Ten; the fresh face in Freshwater

Just a 10 minute walk from Freshwater Beach, new, casual cafe/restaurant/bar; Room Two Ten embodies the relaxed vibe of Australian beach culture.

Named after the hotel room where owner Steve and his mates spent a fun filled six month holiday, the cafe pays homage to good times, friendship and sharing. The task of creating a fitout design that would reflect this heritage was entrusted to Forward Thinking Design as a result of the firm’s track record in creating unpretentious interiors on tight budgets and within short timeframes.

Forward Thinking Design were appreciative of Room Two Tens values of fresh food and community, and strove to create a warm and friendly interior. They used timber extensively as flooring, wall cladding and in furniture to relate to the natural, seaside location. Green dining chairs and foliage were also selected to create a fresh and lively atmosphere. To support Room Two Ten’s focus on group gathering, communal seating was employed both inside and out. Materials and artistic elements are blended in surprising and eclectic ways to create a quirky but flowing unique and playful space.

Room Two Ten may be new to the Freshwater area, but with its excellent coffee and intimate design, it’s sure to stick around.
